For the Singhania family, restraint was never the assignment. Tara and Kabir wanted the most unapologetically grand wedding Jaipur had seen in years — five days, eight hundred and fifty guests, and a baraat the old city would stop to watch.
Five distinct functions over five days, each requiring a complete visual reset of the same palace grounds overnight, for a guest list large enough to be its own logistics operation — accommodation, transport and dining included.
Five days, five worlds. A rose-and-gold mehndi in the Mughal Gardens; an emerald sangeet with a Bollywood headliner; a white-and-silver cocktail soirée; the ceremonial day in deep Rajput crimson and gold; a farewell brunch in soft ivory. Each transformation executed in the hours guests slept.
A caparisoned-elephant baraat, a 40-minute fireworks finale choreographed to live music, and five flawless overnight transformations. Local press called it 'the wedding that reminded Jaipur what royal means.' The Singhania patriarch booked us for his second daughter that same week.
